A website “National Report” published a news article on 22nd April 2016 and reported that the $20 bill was no more treated as a legal tender in North Carolina. Last week the Washington Administration announced an alteration in the complex nature of the $20 bill. This bill is regarding to the well-known portrait of Andrew Jackson. He was the 7th President and the National Hero of New Orleans Battle. This portrait will be pulled out and replaced with Harriet Tubman (the former smuggler and slave during the termination era). The State Legislature of the North Carolina has recently approved a new law and will impose a ban on the status for $20 bill as legal tender regarding any private or public debt. It is important that Governor of the State Pat McCrory will supposedly sign on the new bill at the start of next week. The adding of Harriet Tubman in the $20 bill was due to various reactions especially in the favor.

Point to be noted that “National Report” is considered an entertainment and satirical news website. This website normally publishes false news and stories and doesn’t publish correct and factual news stories. A disclaimer on this website also indicated that this website is considered a news and political satire website and don’t use the original names. Any kind of similarity in names or stories in the published news should be considered accidently publishing elements in news and stories. So, the decision about adding Harriet Tubman in the $20 bill and elimination of Andrew Jackson was spread by rumors. This website published a number of fake stories including “Klan members committing suicide” and a claim that “Tubman was a “Gun-Toting Democrat shooting Republican”.
