A website “National Report” published an article on 27th September 2013 and reported that the U.S President Barak Obama had uttered the month of November 2013 as the National Muslim Appreciation Month. He declared a time of celebration for the Muslim community in the United States. The President of the United States Barak Obama issued a press statement and announced that the month of November has declared as “National Muslim Appreciation Month”. He said that the Muslim community deserves our full respect and support. He said in his press statement that we have killed millions innocent Muslims in various countries after the 9/11 attacks in the United States.

He added that all Muslims are not bad and most of them are good, so November has declared the celebration month for Muslim community. When we tried to find about the correctness of this news, we found that this article was a piece of fabricated news story published by the website “National Report”. The U.S President didn’t issue a press statement to declare the month of November for Muslim celebration. This website normally publishes fictional stories and articles, such as “Boy Scouts Announce Boobs Merit Badge” and “IRS Plans to next target Leprechauns”. It is important that the disclaimer page on this website already mentioned that entire articles published on this website are satirical nature. This website generally uses fake names and any kind of resemblance to the original story to be considered as coincidental.
