Russia was not involved in Cyber-Attack: Julian Assange

An interview took place on 3^rd January 2017 between the founder of WikiLeaks Julian Assange and Fox News host Sean Hannity. Assange again denied that leaked e-mails of DNC published in 2016 by his website were taken, linked or received from Russian government or its military officials. Assange had already denied that Russian government or any Russian agent were the source for published leaked documents. A segment was presented by Fox News on 3^rd January 2017 in which Assange again confirmed that Russia didn’t perform any role in the leaking of provocative published material. A short duration video was published on the website of Fox News before presenting it on Fox News channel.

Fox News claimed that Russia had interrupted the U.S presidential election 2016 and disturbed the Obama administration. Quotes of both Hannity and Assange were added including a statement that the name of WikiLeaks was not included in the recent statements of the U.S government regarding the matter. In spite of the claims of Obama administration that Russian government was behind the alleged cyber-attack to interrupt the U.S presidential election 2016, the United States had imposed sanctions on Russia last week. Moreover, after the interview of Assange with Fox News on 3^rd January 2017, the WikiLeaks has declared that Julian Assange has planned for 5^th January 2017 to host a Reddit AMA.
