On Friday 30th September 2016, a comparatively uncommon spiritual event will be happened in the western hemisphere. This event is so-called “Black Moon” would rise in the sky. So, don’t try to see it using your eyes directly. The Black Moon is just a name give to the second appearance of a new moon in a single month. New moons are often invisible to the naked eyes due to the Sun is shining on the side facing away from our Earth. A Black Moon normally happens once after every 32 months and the result is due to the inconsistency between the original number of 29.5 days in a lunar cycle and the total number of 30-31 days in a calendar month.

It is the opposite if you are considering a Blue Moon as often described as the 2nd appearance of a Full Moon in a specified month. It also happens once after every 32 months. It is important that none of the above mentioned name were defined by astronomers. A long time ago, the phases of the moon were significantly important among the affairs of humans. Most of us know that our ancestors realized and disseminated by them, depended on them for predictions of everything from the retreat and proceed of the directions to menstrual cycles to the genders of unborn babies. The settlement of the naming full moons were a memory aid for keeping records and tracking of seasons, such as Wolf Moon, Harvest Moon and Blood Moon.  But now we don’t need for this help due to the invention of the calendar.
