A story circulated online since 2003 regarding a statement of Army General Tommy Franks, as he allegedly told to returning veterans that “Anti-war Protesters are Pussies”. The newly elected U.S President Donald Trump has selected retired Marine Corps Gen. James Mattis (famous as Mad Dog) as the new Secretary of Defense in his upcoming administration. A number of websites have mentioned above described story as fictional. Some websites found with variations in their headlines and one of them was, “These are the 7 Most Alpha Quotes from new Secretary of Defense in the Trump Administration”. The quote was, “When you men go home and face any anti-war protester, you should look in his eyes and shake his hand. Then, gleam at his girlfriend due to, she knows that she is dating a pussy”.
When we tried to find the authenticity of this story, we were unable to find the original source of this alleged quote. The earlier version of this story was on the message board “Tilted Forum Project” and it was pointed out to Franks. Tommy Franks executed two wars in Iraq and Afghanistan under the former administration of Bush, after the attacks on 11th September 2001 in the United States. After the selection of Mattis by the new elected U.S president Trump, this story circulated virally on most of the social media websites. The alleged quote was collected from web, but it was attached to Mattis instead of Frank. Some also included it in a Ranker list of the Very Best quotes from Mattis. So, we were unable to mention about the quote originating source or website, but it has been confirmed that Mattis hasn’t any kind of link with the alleged quote.
