Google has Presented a Desktop Feature Called Continuous Scrolling

Multiple news outlets have reported that Google is presenting a feature on the desktop called “Continuous Scrolling”. This new feature will enable users to find the appropriate search results for English-language queries in the United States. Keep in mind that it eliminates navigating time finding the specific search results across pages.

The search giant is now expanding a feature once presented on mobile devices. It would efficiently decrease mistakes for constant scrolling for unlimited scrolling. Users can discover up to 6 pages of search results. They should scroll down even they reach the “More” tab to find more results. However, Google restricts constant scrolling to 4 pages of search results.

Most Users don’t Move to the 2nd Page of Search Results

Google has commonly had Paged coverage to search results. It clearly indicates that users need to scroll down the search result page and look to find more results. They must click on the page number found at the bottom. This newly announced feature will also offer more visibility to websites that weren’t ranked higher to hit the first page.

People aim to prevent the 2nd page and fewer of them often go to it afterward, but it is a joke. An earlier study indicates around 95% of users prefer avoiding visiting the 2nd page and just 3% of users go ahead. It is noteworthy that the best place to camouflage something criminally destructive is page 2nd of the Google search results.

Users Claimed Google is Degrading Search Results

The recent modification came when most users were found complaining that Google is degrading the quality of search results. Google responded to claims that it has made a series of modifications including making more visual search results. The search giant released a feature in September. The feature surfaced results from Quora and Reddit under a section named “Discussions and Forums”.

Meanwhile, Google is also working on the improvement of desktop search results. But keep in mind that most of those features are specific for a mobile-first design. The search giant is also testing widget-styled cards on the home screen to provide ease. It enables users to access specific information such as weather and stocks instantly.

Google is Constantly Offering Support to its Users

A company’s blog post announced a new feature on Oct 14, 2021. Google is constantly discovering new ways to support its users to find what they are searching for rapidly and simply. The company launched a redesign for the Search results page. The version was specific for a more modern experience on mobile devices that easily scan and navigate.

The search giant is making browsing search results seamless and informative. So, the company has now introduced a continuous scrolling feature on mobile devices. The next group of results will load automatically with specifically relevant information when reaching the search results page’s bottom. Some users traditionally find their searches reviewing the first few results on the first page.

Users Need More Specific and Targeted Results

However, most users who need more information move to browse up to 5 pages on search results. They can do this seamlessly with this latest update by browsing across many different results before clicking the See More tab. Most of them need to consider more results and motivation prior to deciding to move forward. Scrolling across a series of results offers tons of information you didn’t consider.

For instance, the no-carve pumpkin Halloween decor ideas for Halloween events. The search result will show pumpkin seed recipes and other related ideas. This would make your pumpkin more appealing and more ideas would enable users how to make the most attractive one. Meanwhile, the new Search experience is beginning to randomly release on Thursday on mobile devices in the United States.
